In the post 18th amendment situation, RAF plans to work with key stakeholders in the provinces to identify needs for research and the effective use of existing evidence for advocacy to scale up proven initiatives.

RAF conducted a series of provincial and regional stakeholder consultations in September 2011 to identify provincial and regional priorities for maternal and newborn health, research gaps and needs for evidence and/or advocacy opportunities as identified by key stakeholders from that province/region.
